Neil Great picture, it captures a moment in time. I think this is a phase I'm going through. I tried a 16:9 crop and by taking a little off the top IMO cuts the starkness of the blue sky. |

I like the composition and wherever your eyes go they are drawn back to the lighthouse. It also breaks up the picture. |

Paul you have a skill of bringing life to an older time way of life with your BWS. I love the sky it adds attitude to the photo. I am wondering if there is a cell phone tower behind the second train car. IMO it is a distraction either way. |

Mark I also thought another view of a waterfall. I love these. Your photos always draw me in. This is true with this one. I like the diagonal title of the picture and how the eye is drawn from death to life through the picture. |

I also prefer the slower softer look of water. If I remember right there was a non photographer on this trip so not alot of time to plan. |

Neil I will try to bring that out. I think the waters combining drew me in to wanting to take this picture. |

Dawn amazing photograph and kudos to you for the hike. I love everything about the photo. IMO I think that the crop might work better as a pano. Right now my eyes keep getting drawn to the mountains and the foliage then to the water. I believe the water is the star of the show, because of the clouds on the mountain. I think with the pano your eyes are drawn into the picture. The way you captured then edited it great job. |

I am sorry for the late review. I love this picture. What I find interesting is both your photo and Mark's edit evoke two different feelings.
Your photo emits gloomy but some hope. The spires are shrouded in mystery. Mark's edit brings out hope after the rain. So basically it depends on what audience you are trying to reach. |
