I love this picture. My eyes are drawn into the picture and my eyes float around the whole picture. My eyes settle on the small slightly out of focus butterfly below the main clump. I like the fact that it is out of focus.

That is an amazing thing for you to have witnessed.

I debated with myself on color or BW I do like them both. I still am leaning more towards the BW though. I will be taking out the rock.		 Feb 27th

I love this. I also like how you explained the post processing. The end result with what you call "mushy' areas IMHO make the wave more powerful. 		Feb 14th

I like the leading lines of the rocks. My eyes go straight through the picture. My eyes first notice that purple flower just off center in the lower left corner. My eyes then slowly take in all of the purple flowers.

I agree with Paul on the crop. If you have the pixels I would consider cropping in on the middle group.		 Feb 13th

I love this composite. Looks amazing. I myself have not tried composites. So, most of my night photos are single exposures which mean no landscape unless I light paint.
I am also glad you shared how you processed the photo.
