I like the scene. I would not of dehazed the scene, it's in Oregon on the coast. I like Neil's idea of leaving the one person on the rock for a totally different story.		 Jan 23rd

I am also caught up in the clouds. I would have liked to see more color in the trees. The mast of the boat draws my eyes straight through the frame.		 Jan 23rd

Wow. I love it in BW. I have to say my eyes were immediately drawn to the mist. I have to agree with Neil on the whirlpool effect. This picture does capture a fury. 		Jan 23rd

Yes your editing skills have grown. I have yet to explore bracketing or focus stacking. I think BW was the right choice for this picture. The ripples draw me into the middle ground of the dunes with the shadow and light play. My eyes rest on the mountains in the background. Good work all the way around. 		Jan 23rd

Welcome to the group I'm sorry for the late reply.
The first thing I notice about this photo is the layers. I see the flowers then my eyes go to the road and trees. After that I see mountains and then the sky. In my opinion the colors do seem a tad muted. I can picture me here soaking up the view and that is what a photograph should do.		 Jan 23rd

That is a good question I will try that crop, but I am wondering if I would lose the leading line of the creek coming in. The picture might not be grounded then.
