I see vastness when I look at this photo. The tones work well to complement each other. The bright clouds on the left side of the photo are a tad distracting. I would consider toning them down. The person does add perspective. |

I like the pathway under the trees. The person does give a reference point for the size of the trees. Good composition. |

Congrats on the hike very proud of you.
My first impression when I saw the photograph was the lake and how refreshing it looks. I like how you cropped in to make that one of the subjects. My eye travels from the lake to the cabin and over to what I am assuming is the trail on the other side. This photograph gives me a feeling of calm before the long trek. |

Before I read any of the comments this screamed black and white. I like how the ripples in the sand draw my eye through the whole photograph. Great composition and great positioning yourself. |

I didn't notice that leaf until after the fact. It was interesting how everything just came together for that shot. |

So, I'm to understand that you like the original with more leaf and foliage? |

Thank you. I think it is so cool that you do a blind read so to speak on the photos. I am starting to experiment more and more with photoshop and I love your tips. |

I love the subject matter. The Unknown Solider tombstone is great. I am also a tad distracted by the blue sky. Overall great composition. |
