I like the softness and muted colors of the picture. It captures the atmosphere of the Oregon coast. That Mark's edit also appeals to me, by making the buildings pop. It all depends what you are trying to achieve. |

You are raising the B&W bar higher I love it. One request when you publish your project, I would like an autographed copy. |

I like the edits you made and what you did with the clouds, like Dawn says it is personal preference. The reflections in the pond are a plus.
Great picture |

Great picture and the vastness of Yellowstone does show through as Paul said. I also agree with Mark on the snow it is a little harsh to my eyes. My eyes are drawn through the photo and then comes back to rest on the buffalo |

I enjoy your pictures and I love learning your thinking and edits. The blue hue has grown on me as I've come back to this photograph numerous times this month.
I hope you don't mind I did a different crop and used content aware to move the rock away from the side. I was distracted by the negative space above the reflection, so I did more of a pano crop. |

Thank you. It is funny how the scene looked much better in person then what I had the camera capture. |

There will be no competing with Mark on post processing, he is stretching me to improve though which is good. I like to shoot everything :)
I do agree about the fence. |

Thank you for your suggestions and explanations that does help a lot. I like the crop by just showing the road and not the gravel on my side of the road. I see your point as to composition. My thought was to have the cactus look like it was guarding the guard rail. I have not approached the use of linear gradients yet still on my learning horizon. |
