Thank you for the long explanation on how this was accomplished. I do think the blurred background makes the heron pop. |

Your use of leading lines are always spot on. I can picture myself in a canoe heading into the picture. Thanks for sharing. |

I like how you made this composite. I am not that talented to even attempt this. |

I am glad you are back. What is your website if you don't mind posting it here. I like the in camera blur it reminds me of a soft water color. |

I love the peacefulness of this photograph. The reflection of the tree draws my eye straight into the frame and stops at the tree then progresses across the frame. I myself am a fan of negative space. I give you kudos for long exposure I'm not there yet but am looking to explore it. |

Welcome to the group. Thanks for taking the time to tweak the picture. I like what you did to bring out the secret spot.
I was actually standing on the dock to take the photo. Side note boats and me do not get along.
Looking forward to more feedback and photos from you. |

Thanks for the feedback. I for one get a brilliant idea in my mind and then realize it doesn't look great on paper. I might try and leave it in color and just remove the boat. The boat to me seems to be a distraction. |

I see what you mean. The structure is in the trees and you do have to look hard. Here it is with the platform circled. |
