You are an awesome story teller. (I am wondering if he left a quarter for the maid.) You've captured the mood of the day, kind of normal for your area. I do love the background with the tree limbs almost wanting to engulf the tree house.

Thank you for sharing a piece of your family history. I knew exactly what this was before the whole thing came into view, I played a wooden clarinet. This made the picture even more powerful.
As for the light painting this is perfect. The star point (lack of better word) behind the music holder is perfect. It draws your eye to that spot and allows it to float through the picture.
You should enter this in a contest. I am trying not to look at any of the photographs this year before I write anything. |

Moody is the one word that describes the picture for me. I like it. I agree the trees in the foreground adds to the picture, makes almost a natural frame. |

Thank you for your comments, I am trying to show how relaxing nature can be.
I agree with your taste on the dark section of the bank. I should have caught that when I was shooting. This year one of my goals are to take multiple pictures of the same scene at different settings when possible. I will then be able to compare what one works the best so when I am in that situation again I know what works. |
