I love the image and I am drawn to the reflection. I also like the three trees and how they draw you down the bank of the river. Great composition. |

You are inspiring me to try B/W photography, so thank you. This works great as a B/W because of the subject matter. Like Michael said the leading lines do take you on a tour of the photograph. |

I like the smile after you pointed it out, sometimes my eyes need help seeing things. I love the blue-green-gray colors of the water. I have not attempted a stitched panorama, so my question is do you always put the camera in portrait orientation? |

Good picture. In my opinion this looks like a petrified sea creature that was beached. So I hope you don't mind that I downloaded and cropped way in on the driftwood but was still able to keep the clouds. Remember this is just my vision of the picture. I like the care you took to keep the footprints out of the scene. Side note: I prefer to shoot manual mode because my husband is old school film and he taught me his way of shooting. The hard part is giving up some of the control back to the camera if I need to shoot in shutter or aperture priority. |

Your photo inspired me, now I have to replace the ice cream in my freezer. Without your description though it comes across as a meme looking for a caption. I would have liked to see more of the building to give it perspective. |

As you know I'm a big fan of reflections you nailed it. The calmness of the water was perfect. At least for me a picture works if I can picture myself in the scene and I can. Just my opinion I would ease back a little on the magenta. Your use of the leading line of the rock draws me straight back into the picture stopping to grasp the three groups of tree and ending on the mountains. |
