I like the composition I can see myself sitting at the base of the bush looking up at the rocks

I am very fond of reflection pictures so I love it. I am wondering like Jean if you retook the photo with a different DOF how it would change the photo because when you really study the picture you start to get lost in a busy middle. This is just my opinion as a beginner.

Thank you for the encouragement. I am learning a lot being in this group. I am also learning that sometimes to make a great photograph you need to do post production and I am highly lacking in that skill. I am willing to learn though

I agree with David this does make a strong B&W. I am especially drawn to the shadows of the aloe leaves that might have been lost if you left it in color.

I need to clarify what I thought was soft and that was the rocks in the background those reflections were soft. This is just my opinion. I really love the kelp. I hope this helps

I like the expansiveness of the rock formations. Your version looks softer because of the haze I like Michael's image but yours is more realistic

Just my opinion my eye is distracted by the crispness of the kelp because the rest of the picture that is reflected has a slight blur to it. I do like the softness of the colors of the background. Interesting technique for post processing

Thank you for cropping the picture it also dropped the horizon below the center of the picture. I might even darken the clouds a little more.
