93 Dec 20 Comment Thanks everyone. I have a had a bit of a wild ride in the past couple of weeks. I went from not feeling well and losing weight to a diagnosis of pancreatic cancer in less than a week and then radical abdominal surgery 12 days later. The surgery was successful and it appears (so far) that there is no involvement of any other vital organs. After only 5 days post-op in hospital, I was discharged and am now recovering at home. The meds are keeping the pain under control and I am hopeful of a full (albeit slow) recovery. I appreciate the good wishes I am receiving from all of my friends, colleagues and associates. I love the "get well" message posted here. Best regards for a happy, and healthy holiday season this year. I am praying that the end of 2020 will usher in a much much better 2021 with more optimism, civility and an end to the pandemic. Dec 9th
