Here is another of my photographs of the Christmas 2022 tree on the Tyler, Texas downtown square. This is cropped tightly on the tree, but I still have black sky. This photograph is not as interesting to me because it can be any Christmas tree anywhere since there is nothing to identify its location. Yes - think of myself as a Tylerite. I think the business in the background are distracting. Granted - this photograph can be placed on a greeting card that is square after it is printed and folded. |

It looks way too cold for me; glad this photograph was made from inside what I trust was a warm hotel. Are those building materials under a clear cover? The shapes of the window panes are interesting for their geometric shapes and the window assures the viewer that they are in a warm enclosure. Excellent photograph. |

Subject does not excite me. Otherwise, an excellent photograph. The shallow depth of field holds attention on the man. |

I was trying to photograph the tree, TYLER sign, and as much of the downtown square as I could. I have other photographs that I made of this tree that I can crop tightly. |

After I pressed the Submit button and rechecked photograph, it looks more like I expected it to look with the 0.5 inch border. I must be asleep at the keyboard; now, I see your example. Did I make the border too wide? |

Is this what you mean? I actually put a 0.5 inch border around the image and do not know why it is so thin on this post. |
