I used Adobe Camera RAW and lowered the exposure by one stop, lowered the saturation, and raised the vibrance. |

I will try to lower the overall brightness. I don't think I have the patience and dexterity to clone out the brightest lights. Now that I look at this image again after being away from it a few days, I agree it is too bright. Although, all those lights provided a low level of illumination for the entire city square. |

This is an excellent photograph that depicts cultural apparel, current technology, current pandemic (face masks ready to put on), and two or three generations of Mayan women (daughter, mother, grandmother?).
A square crop might keep attention on the women. However, the current image shows that nobody is close to them; therefore, they don't feel a need to put on their face masks. Also, the current image shows some of the environment that these women occupy. |
