42 May 21 Comment I wish the butterfly were in sharper focus. Topaz Sharpen AI helped. A tripod, cable or remote shutter release, mirror lockup, 1/2000 second shutter speed, aperture of f/16 or smaller, flash are some things that might get the butterfly in sharp focus. The flash might need a 1/125 second shutter speed and allow for a smaller aperture such as f6.3. Oh! The 300 mm focal length could be the problem since the depth of field is only 0.25 inch 48 inches away at this focal length and aperture . May 26th
42 May 21 Comment This is a fascinating photograph. I made a great many photographs on slide or reversal film, but have not converted very many to digital files. I think I would try to lighten the room behind the girl to make her appear more three dimensional. May 26th
42 May 21 Comment The lower right corner troubles me. Also, the shine from your clamp catches my eye. I think it would help if the clamp could have been placed out of the image area; this might have needed a little more weight suspended from the clamp to position the flower where needed. A few fishing weights might have done the job. May 26th
42 May 21 Reply This treatment definitely focuses on the flower, but it also makes me think of a closeup look at a firework in the sky. This might be a great image for a biology textbook about flowers. May 26th
42 May 21 Comment Scary action shot made in a stressful situation. Glad nobody was injured. I have no suggestions for improvement of this photograph. May 26th
42 May 21 Comment I would like to see the top of the hats by framing the image just a little higher. Otherwise, I would not change anything. Excellent photograph. May 26th
42 May 21 Comment I think the "statues" and the variety of colors are interesting. I wonder if there is any historical significance to these mountains. May 26th
42 May 21 Comment I went back to my RAW image file and reprocessed it. This time my workflow was:
1 - Open in Luminar 4
2 - Process with Topaz DeNoise AI with auto settings selected
3 - Crop and adjust levels in Luminar 4 (tighter crop and lightened the Swan's face)
4 - Add watermark (signature) layer
5 - Process with Topaz Sharpen AI with auto settings selected
6 - Export from Luminar 4 as .jpg file

I think the white feathers might have been over exposed in the RAW image file. Therefore, blowout causes some detail in feathers to be lost.

Thanks to everybody for their suggestions. I like this better than my original processing and might make an 8 inch by 10 inch print since this is a 4 x 5 crop ratio and frame the print.
