8 Apr 26 Reply I see some faint shades of pink at the top of the globe. You can see it more clearly if you selectively boost the contrast (as in this extreme example below). Apr 21st
8 Apr 26 Comment The herons in their nests provide a background for the flying eagle. It's a little cluttered, but that's nature. You might be able to selectively pull some more detail and hue in the eagle if you wished. I like the soft sunrise hues at the right edge, but agree about trying a crop from the bottom. Apr 18th
8 Apr 26 Comment A simple, but elegant, image. I love how the colours of monarch and coneflower subtly blend together, offset by the contrast with the green stalks and leaves. I agree that the soft focus bud on the left doesn't bother me. Using the colour from the image to create the border is a nice touch. Apr 18th
8 Apr 26 Comment Incredible! A timeless view. Under the fog could just be an empty bay for all that one can tell. It's also remarkable how clear both foreground and background are, in spite of the fog enveloping the valley. Well captured indeed! Apr 18th
8 Apr 26 Comment It is indeed a lovely view. I love the leading lines on both sides - road and fence on the right and line of trees on the left - leading the viewer's eyes down along the road to the mountains in the distance. Apr 18th
8 Apr 26 Comment I like the left half of the image, with the globes floating like balloons. As Pat says, the white space on the right can be used for text in a card. But if you want it to stand on its own, I wonder if it would be possible to bring back some more texture from the raw image in the large light in front. Apr 18th
8 Apr 26 Comment I like the cranes with the birds in front and behind them instead of on a blank canvas. But yes, it improves the image if you croup out the far shore, as Marcus has done. And the bird on the right bleeding off the frame did bother me. In general, I don't like to alter nature images too much, especially in this age of generative AI. Apr 18th
