I always consider my compositions carefully before pressing the shutter, and again before posting. In the image here, the two main points of focus - the cloud and the peak - are at the intersection of thirds. I don't agree with relegating the snow-covered peak to the very edge of the frame. |

For those who like the cloud, I have a vertical image shot a few minutes earlier, with just the cloud and the mountains. |

Beautiful patterns and symmetry. I think this is perhaps the first time I've seen a peacock in B&W. Agree about the eye. |

I love it! This is all about broken symmetry, caused by the interplay of two different patterns. Monochrome is a good choice. |

Spectacular! I love it! It almost looks as if it was deliberately composited. Well done! |

Very nice scene with the blue and yellow flowers and the dark rocks. The sky adds just enough to complement the image. You could just crop that half cropped cloud. |

Her expression, adornments and pose make the image. I could never take images of people in public. |

Their eyes grab the viewer's attention! Did you pose them that way? |

Would you, in general, be able to tell a cellphone image from that from a "real" camera on the internet? |

Yes, that would work. |
