This is a ghostly image, like straight out of a horror movie. If that was not your intention, I apologize. Have you seen the book "Ghosts In The Landscape: Vietnam Revisited" (you can find it on Amazon) by my friend Craig Barber of Woodstock? He served as a US Marine in Vietnam, with all the associated traumatic experiences; then returned 28 years later with a large-format pinhole camera to some of the same places he'd attacked and ravaged during the war. The long exposures with the pinhole camera resulted in ghostly images moving through the landscape. |

I love it!!! The way the owl is staring straight into the camera, with just its head standing out from the diffuse background, locks in the viewer's attention. |

Nice reflections - in the water and of the ripples reflected in the side of the boat. However the dark background of this page doesn't do the image justice. I hope you will display the print (if you still make prints) with a white mat. |
