This is about the limit of decent magnification. Anything more than 2x zoom and you can see the pixelation. Best for wide angle shots. Also you cannot make a 16"x20" print, but good for web display. So I wouldn't dump that mirrorless just yet (for serious photographers). For casual hobbyists, of course, whose images live and die on a phone (see below), no need to even look at a real camera. |

Haha! Don't apologize to me. Just a mild suggestion to possibly help viewers better appreciate your image! |

This image is SO like a painting! I love it... the river, the yacht, the pastel browns and greens of the background. Well seen and well worth the effort. My only nitpick is the centered composition; cropping as Mark suggests could possibly fix that. It would be even better if the little kayak were a little off to one side instead of almost in line with the yacht, and not so close to the bottom edge of the image, but one generally can't have everything. |

A very effective closeup. I like the texture visible in the metal, and the use of shallow Depth of Field. |

This is a very unusual composition, as the point of interest is all the way at the edge of the frame. But I really do think it needs a border to set it off from the dark background of the web page. |

I don't mind the door - I think it provides a counterpoint to the composition - but perhaps half an inch of foreground could be cropped. I especially like the little kid's expression. |

I don't see the lights very clearly. Can I ask you to say something about this image, Mark? Is it a phone image? Is it recent or a scan from an old print/slide? |
