Love the colorfulness of the image, everything about the composition, her eyes and her bright smile. The makeup is the only problematic feature; perhaps you can use the smudge tool to "soften" her skin. |

Indeed, the Dali Museum in Figueres, Catalonia, is really something else, with endless opportunities for creative photography. Truly dramatic and superbly executed. At the same time, the illusions are so carefully crafted that I cannot help wondering whether Dali anticipated all these resulting images! |

I'm sorry for having messed up and reversed the images. (Wish you'd pointed it out to me; I posted this month's images as soon as I returned from Germany without really looking at them). Indeed, your digital treatment has transformed a nice straight shot into something akin to a Van Gogh... Bravo! |

I like the sepia tones and the positioning of the bird. I also echo Snehendu's comments about the sharp portcullis - seeming almost like a guillotine! I find the darkness of the arch (and background of the page) rather overwhelming; possibly the print against a white mat (and not just a border) would not appear so overwhelming. |

Thanks for the feedback. Indeed, it was the soaring lines that appealed to me. |

Interesting reflections. I'm sure the girl who is looking up cannot see the sign. The interaction between the two girls makes the image. Personally I'd have liked to see a wider context. |
