I used to shoot infrared film... and loved it. But I never took to digital infrared film. In your image, the black skies are fine, as is the foliage tonality, but perhaps not its texture. However, it is still possible to bring out some more detail in the highlights - here is a quick attempt with just the Shadows & Highlights filter. |

As you know, when you sent the image, I wondered whether you intended to post it as it or flipped. Seeing both images together, I must say that I prefer your original image, although both work. But I would crop off the head of hair at the top of the image. |

It is a nice portrait and a wonderful composite. I agree that the magenta colored bra distracts. But thank you (&Photoshop) for not subjecting your niece to the ordeal of holding a live python in the service of art! |

Very interesting structure. I'd no idea such contraptions are still in use in the 21st century! The monochrome treatment is quite effective as is the border. |

Very strong double portrait. Yes, a border would be nice, but against the black background of this page, it could be neither a black border nor a white border. But I think you make most of your images with a print in mind; so I'd expect you'd display it against a mat or frame. |

Yes, if I include the complete flag, that brings in more distracting elements from the street. |
