Love the image and the tones. The symmetry is amazing, broken by numerous subtle details! I spent a good (& enjoyable) ten minutes cataloging all the differences between the left and right halves of the image. |

Nice effect. I like the texture created in the water. For me, the image works even better without the bridge at the top. What do you think? |

I love the color palette, the softening filter and the flying egret. Were the other two shot on location? I'm not sure it is natural behavior for egrets to perch on a railing like these two are. |

The cats are well positioned to grab the viewer's eye and add a story line, while not interfering with the pattern of light, shadows, tone and texture. Their poses look very natural in the image. |

Indeed this feels like two separate images, especially with the reeds in silhouette and the complete absence of texture in the snow. I realize that this is what you saw in your mind's eye and this is what you were after; it just doesn't click for me. |
