Nice juxtaposition of the dark red/brown leaves against the flowing water. I too would have liked to see how it would have looked with a longer exposure, but I agree that the effect of the wind on the leaves limits the possibilities. |

Interesting idea and a humorous, light-hearted image. |

Interesting idea. I like the wide mat with the trees and lighthouse, but I don't care for the water "spilling out" of the image. There is some faint detail in the shadows - I'd prefer to either be able to see these a little more clearly or else have them darkened so as not to distract. |

No sailboats in India anymore; this is the 21st century! But wait for next month's image. |

Yes, this was hand-held, but that was not the primary reason for shooting Shutter Priority; I can still hand hold for longer than 1/3200 sec. I generally shoot Aperture Priority, but I switched to Shutter Priority in order to capture a passing boat in one of the previous images. |

Wonderful colours, with strong lines add impact to this image. I agree with Gloria about setting off the dark foreground from the page background. Even for digital display, I generally add a border whenever the print would look better with a mat. |

Very strong portrait, with a hint of mystery and defiance. The choice of converting to B&W was a good one. |
