Interesting artistic choice to keep the foreground structure in focus, while throwing the steeples in the background out of focus. I find it a little distracting because my analytical left brain tries to read the time in the out of focus clock dial! I might have tried hyperfocal focusing to keep all three in an acceptable one of sharpness, which would also perhaps be more in keeping with your title. |

I like the composition, colors and detail. The highlights do not hold as much interest for me as the spines along the stem and buds. I like Dr. Kar's diagonal composition too. |

Everything enhances the nature story here, including the tight framing, concentrating the viewer's attention on the interaction between mother and baby. Good detail. |

Very interesting patterns, almost anatomical. I too prefer the second image, although the patterns in the foreground of the first image are more interesting. |
