I love the warm colors and backlighting. The man and mower are well placed. However, I find that the dark silhouettes of the foreground foliage - especially in front of & around the mower - compete for attention. |

A nice scene; would like to see the original. The saturated colors are a bit too gaudy for me, but probably may appeal well to a 21st century viewership! As a compositional element, I like the leading lines of the pier and the long shadows leading to the sun. The figure then seems out of place; perhaps try moving her to one of the crash points. |

Very appealing. I agree, the symmetry looks quite natural. What is the background? |

Wonderful tones, wonderful focus, great design,... on the whole a very aesthetic image! I think the slight soft focus is acceptable here, but if you want more control, I have found the Joby Gorillapod (a flexible spider tripod) useful in such circumstances. |

This is very abstract. I wouldn't have been able to identify it without the title. I find the jet contrail (?) slicing through the middle of the image rather distracting. I would also like to see more tonal distinction between the monument and the sky at the lower left. There is a menacing "eye" in the clouds that I find interesting. |
