Another very nice image, Stanley.
You have captured the tranquility of this scene and the setting sun.
You did very well not to over expose the sun. Well done. |

You have created a very soft imageand I wonder what it would look like if it was in colour?
I like the 5x4 crop.
It is a style of photography that appeals to some people and I wonder how it would fare in a competition. But there again you may not intend for it to be a competition photo, but one you can enjoy.
A very neat concept.

This is a simple image of a floating feather. It is tack sharp and well exposed.
I agree with the others that you might crop out some of the top and the bottom of the image to highlight the white feather.
Well seen

Piers, this is a wonderful example of ICM. You have not overdone the movement and we can still see the intent of the orginal image and the colours of autumn leaves on the trees that have now become stylised.
I like the textured finish you have applied.
This is a great bright image.
Well done!

Jim, this is a great colourful image of the spoonbill. There is an air of mystery created by that solitary eye looking back at us
The image is tack sharp from front to back and I like the way it fills the frame.
Well done

I really like this image, Tom
I like the colour palette, the composition and the way the line of drums and cymbals leads the eye up to the drummer's face ... and then the eye stops as it tries to see beyond the dark glasses and the black hat, but it can't! It just stays there.
Well done.
