2 Sep 25 Comment Shirley, I like the different textures. The stone pathway that leads the the slatted wooden bridge and then the leading lines of the bridge leading the eye into the background.
Had I not been to America and seen woodland scenes just like this I would have said the image was over saturated, but it is not. To me it is true to life.
It brings back memories of our trips to NY state and the north east of the USA.
Thank you

2 Sep 25 Comment Piers, I like the way you have chosen to show a group of birds. All too often photographers present images of a single bird, but you have shown that these birds fly in flocks and this tells us part of the story of how they live.
A lovely image

2 Sep 25 Comment What an interesting still life!
You have made a mudane subject of broken egg shells really "pop" into a wonderful image.
I love it!

2 Sep 25 Comment Jim this is a lovely warm image. I like the straight lines and the contrast with the curve of the centre piece and it's projection.
A great image

2 Sep 25 Comment Stanley, this is an interesting image. I am not sure that aurora effect is convincing.
I would like to see the original image and I am curious about the "stick figures" on the jetty and in the rowing boat.
Nicely done

56 Sep 25 Comment I like the contrast between the red dress and the green background. I agree with Gerhard that this image could easily be mistaken for a "model" shot.

A lovely image

56 Sep 25 Comment A nice clear image. Well caught. I find the light a little eerie. Sep 24th
56 Sep 25 Comment The old pickup truck is the focus of the image and the people behind it seem to be secondary to the story.
A nice bright image and well caught.

56 Sep 25 Comment Cisco, this is an interesting image. However my eye is attracted to the bright spot in the background and I miss the presence of humans. Sep 24th
56 Sep 25 Comment A lovely image. Maybe the background could be softened a little to make the subject stand out more... and of course the title is a reference to the late, great Woody Guthrie.
Well done
