Thank you all for your comment and suggestions.
I have taken the image back into Photoshop and worked on the downturned mouth, and changed the watermark into Chinese characters for competition anonymity reasons
Her mouth was something I hadn't noticed. |

Shirley, this is a wonderful nighttime scene. Well done.
The red glow of the Northern lights provides a dramatic backdrop to the landscape, giving the image a mysterious and surreal feel. The stars twinkling above add a nice touch of serenity to balance the intensity of the red hues.
Your composition is well thought out, with the road leading the eye into the image and towards the horizon, creating a sense of depth and journey.
I like that you have lightened the foreground to provide us with some detail.
This is a great image particularly because of the ungodly hour that you waited until to take it.
Well done

Karen, this is a wonderful dynamic "pour" shot!
You've done a great job freezing the action, which clearly shows the Aperol flowing into the glass with crisp detail and vibrant colour. Your composition is clean and to the point, with the subject perfectly positioned to draw the eye.
Your lighting is really good as it highlights the translucency and colour of the Aperol and gives a nice definition to the ice cubes.
The background is unobtrusive and helps the subject stand out.

Tor, You've captured an intriguing image with a bold colour palette and a strong interplay of geometry and shadow. The contrast between the vibrant red and the deep shadow, accented by the bright yellow railings, creates a dynamic visual tension that's very appealing.
A great minimalist image

Piers, this is a lovely image that beautifully captures the vibrant colours and the details of the poppy. The water droplets add a fresh quality to the image, while the bee approaching the flower contributes a dynamic element.
The shallow depth of field ensures that our attention remains on the flower and the bee, while the background is nicely blurred, allowing the subject to stand out.

Jim, you have created a great image that captures the essence of classic car design with its chrome details and elegant lines. The high-key treatment and the minimalist approach work well to emphasize the shapes and textures of the car features. You've managed to create a photograph that feels both modern and timeless, focusing on the aesthetic elements without the distraction of a busy background.
