I think it looks much better now that you have reduced the excessive blue. Maybe warm the colour image by moving the "Temperature" slider (in Lightroom) towards the "yellow zone" and lighten the image slightly.
At the moment, both colour and mono images have a slight cold feeling about them |

I agree with Shirley, "you got what you wanted -- the speed."
I like the whole image. The blurred train is running into space and the sign on the fence says it's a "high speed electric train, so we know what is hidden in the blur.
Well done |

Maybe lighten the darker ear a touch. |

Piers, although we don't have squirrels in this "neck of the woods" we do have acorns, and the acorn being held by the squirrel adds some scale to the subject. You have done well to catch this image of the "critter."
I like your treatment of the image but there is a fuzzy brown line running down over the rump of the of the subject. It is apparent on the original as well. I am surprised this area is not sharp considering the f/8 setting you used.
My suggestion would be a hard crop to remove this area and then it would remain as a very nice "nature" photo with little or no post processing.

This is a great photo, Shirley. I love the feeling of the grass "slithering" down the sandhill from it's shelter onto the beach. It looks like some weird serpent. It also creates a lovely diagonal line coming up from the lower left corner!
Maybe pull the intensity (dehaze??) of the blue sky back a bit so that it is more like your original image. It is very intense at the moment and draws the eye away from the main topic and gives the feeling of a blue cast over the whole image.
A well thought out image, well done |

A great photo, Jim. Just Wow!
Not that I have been to Patagonia, but surely those two paths might have been created by the Llamas wandering around Torres del Paines National Park and are therefore part of the natural environment!
A great photo and we hope to see more in the coming months |
