This is a great image and a wonderful result. I like the way that you planned your image/shoot probably knowing all along that it was going to be a card. |

This looks like a monster from the depths of the ocean. It is an interesting image and I really do like the Dr V.G's treatment of it. A great image none the less. I'm glad we don't have moths like this around here! |

Piers, I have to agree with both Harry and Shirley. It is a very busy image taken in flat light. There are occasions when conditions are not ideal for photography and it is better to have taken an image in poor light than to lose the memory completely.
In this image, my eyes wander from the bright red flowers to the light background and all the time I believe the statue should have been the focus point. Unfortunately it has almost been lost in the busyness of it's surroundings. |

Hung, I think this is a great image and I like the blue iris in the foreground. It goes against all the rules. This image probably wouldn't go well in a photo competition because of the iris but it adds a "rebellious" element to an otherwise tranquil scene. |
