Above all, I like the color combination Angela, which is quite vibrant. Some of my friends do water droplet photography and hearing from them, I can imagine how tedious it is to prepare for this and then execute it well. The only thing to this image is that it looks quite tight. The image has been cropped till the last drop, wherein a bit of breathing space on all sides will give it a pleasant feel.
I have not tried it yet but would love to shoot in next couple of week. If anyone has any specific guidance and tips, please let me know.

Agree with you all and thanks for your candid feedback. I need to work through focus stacking, which I recently started, so I will be able to share one of those image next month.
The ideal image would have been to get the ant, the bugs leg and nose also in focus! I feel I missed an opportunity but I am sure I will keep this in mind when I shot macro next time. |

Very nice image Charles! Like everyone else, even I like the texture of the stone here, it does create a depth in the image. I get a though that if the surface was plain black with no texture, it might have given a different look to the image. Right now I do see texture on the floor across the frame and that is a bit distracting to me. Again how I see this image but even this looks just right. |

A very well shot high key photo Peter. One thing which love the most of this image is the texture, it is consistent across the frame and does give a different feel to the image. For some reasons I feel that the right side of the frame is a bit tightly cropped, I may have that feeling because the flower is facing towards the right and felt a bit more empty space will still do. Thats how I feel though. |

The color combinations in the frame is beautiful and similar to how Charles felt, even I like the frame within the frame, by the green leaves.
The only thing I have is that the flower is not clearly visible, hence it does not strike immediately as to what it is and the shape. I would have moved a bit on my left side and shot this flower so that I can get the overall shape of it captured. |

I must say it's a neat shot and I do light the way light on the subject has been captured. The light on the subject clearly indicates the direction, with the shadow on the right shoulder.
Apart from few key feedback which others have already give, the only thing I would add is reduce the noise which is evident in the background. This can be either done while shooting (by having sufficient ambience light) or during post processing. |
