I like that you converted this to black and white. I think it was the right call. This is just my personal opinion however my eye is catching that slanting fence line. I also wonder how lightening the shadows to the cow would bring out her features more, or bringing the darkness of the grass up to be lighter on the BW sliders. I played with the image a bit. I have a fondness for cow/calf elk photos. |

Can i start by saying your really making me want to find owls? I think the nail on the head for this is the lighting on the animals back. |

Stupid as it sounds, I honestly thought this was Pennsylvania by looking at the image. I live in the Poconos. I really like the contrast of barren trees on the right and the greenery on the left. The color is well saturated and the fog adds really great mood. I would crop up a bit to get the branches out from the bottom of the image. |
