I gotta say you did a great job at the retouched image after the initial critiques. I'm right there with you when it comes to the clone tool.

I use to hunt as well and agree im enjoying it much more with the camera. This was the first and only clear shot I had wit this fella. The minute he actually noticed me he took off and wasn't seen again. |

I tried the bumpped Fstop because I always find that my images are soft at the 6.3 and its frustrating. I agree with the background but it was such a fleeting and unexpected moment I didn't have a chance to move and if I had he would have been spooked immediately. While I love the versatility of this lens It seems to require a lot of light to get sharp images. |

I think you met your goal. The different color tones in the background really lend to the success of the bird standing out. |

I like the crop, the angle, the perfectly blurred background. Beautiful work, the snow is at the perfect texture for me. |

This really shows the power of water. The wave itself is light up just right. I really love the detail in the smaller waves off to the left. Seeing the west coast is on my bucket list. |
