I like how the colors contrast from dark bottom to light top, your eyes flow through the entire scene. Nice work! |

So, I am pretty green on photoshop yet and have been meaning to take a class. I attempted the changes suggested. |

I love the detail in this photo, from the wet fur to the color in the eyes. I feel like I can reach out and touch the bear. It sounds like one of those moments where you would have as much enjoyment from watching the animals behavior as you do photographing it. |

Great shot and opportunity. I have to agree with Larry though as the angle on this is kind of throwing me off. I prefer the straightness in the original. If it was intentional I would love to know your reasoning. |

Thank you, I appreciate that. I included the original image. it was a finalist in outdoor photography magazines wildlife contest this past year. When I went back to the original image I thought that the sky was a bit distracting due to the light at mid day. It was one of those moments where you can brace yourself and trust the boat driver or duck and cover ha ha! |

Judges will be judges ha ha. I think the shot is fantastic, the grasses that they speak of do not inhibit the drama that is playing out, the animal is in clear view. I have often thought of going out photographing on a kayak but with my luck I would end up overboard along with my equipment! |
