73 Feb 23 Comment Thanks, Sherry for your kind feedback. I do not prefer the center for the boat too. I do have some shots that way. But for some reason, I like this one a bit more. Possibly because of the cloud that tries to jump on the sun like a horse. Feb 21st
73 Feb 23 Comment Beautiful night skyline/harbor view. Beautiful 'almost' blue hour lighting. Feb 21st
73 Feb 23 Comment Beautiful layers and elements in one shot - left to right and top to bottom. COntrasts of the fields and green have come out beautifully. Loved the shot. Feb 21st
73 Feb 23 Comment Sedona is on my bucket list for a long time. Nice pleasant shot. Great advertisement of the mill through your image - invoking the cliched question that gets asked with any good travel photograph - "Where was this taken ?". Nice soft lighting and color contrasts. Feb 21st
73 Feb 23 Comment Lovely capture of the motion and nice lines. The panning is very well done. A very interesting piece of tradition and history. These are the stories that make cultures so interesting and vibrant. Minor point about the head on the left lower side. I feel his blocking my view and I tried to look over his shoulders. :)

89 Feb 23 Reply Thanks, Adrienn for the feedback. Vintage.. you could say that.

Cropping was a challenge for me - as I did not want to lose certain things in the way I composed this shot. In hindsight, I could have gone wider or something to try a few more things. But these were challenging grasslands - almost 2-3 feet in height and full of dew drops - making your clothes, and gear all wet.

89 Feb 23 Reply Thanks for your kind feedback. Cropping this one for me was a challenge, without losing the items I wanted. Probably should have shot wider (but it was 100mm).

The sun-lit drops towards the left top were something I wanted to shoot but so was the right side bottom bokeh. I could not decide which one to lose (because I wanted both).

89 Feb 23 Comment Very difficult to get such nice lighting and contrast on a white bird under sunlight. Nice shot. I particularly like the shadow of the beak falling on itself and the reflection. Liked it very much. Feb 21st
89 Feb 23 Comment Brilliant shot. I am surprised the comments say eyes are closed. But I think you intend to capture that... and hence the title too. Shooting the closed eyes of a hummingbird must be very challenging... I get a very meditative zen-like feel looking at the image. Superb sharp shot! Loved it! Feb 21st
89 Feb 23 Comment Lovely sharp shot. Good composition to bring the whole environment. Loved it. Feb 21st
89 Feb 23 Comment Enjoyable composition and angle. The broad forest perspective is very nice. Some of the snowdrops have come out well (lower half). Snowdrops in the upper half seem to be too strong. Heavy snowfall is a big challenge - physically risky and different greyscaled lighting. Good click! Feb 21st
