Jim, I agree that lightening the very day black are would help the image. The reason I kept it black was to emphasize death and the heaviness of a cemetery with the light symbolizing hope. It also balanced the black area directly across from it and supported the heavy shadow between them. |

Thanks Henry. There were a number of elements in the image that I wasn't sure on how to handle them. The tree shadow and the corner of the grave in the lower left. I kept them. The shadow because of the lighting and the grave corned to anchor the shadow and bounce the ye back into the image. Also the white along the edge as you pointed out. But decided to keep it as original to emphasize the intensity of light in certain areas. It was a toss up. I took the left fork, you took the right fork. |

Very nice image. You managed to give the image a 3D look via your post processing approach. I like the tonal shift in the wrought iron shadow. I feel like I am actually there looking at the window in real time. Well done. |

To me the lighting and tones are right on the money. Perfect exposure. I agree with Henry, the geometry is perfect. Nice job on straightening the wide angle distortion. The red in the original had me puzzled until I read your write up then I was amazed. |

I love this. It brought a smile to my face. I like the crop. Is it "I Spy" or "Candid Camera". To me the image is balanced and has a theme. The camera is spying on the reader and the vents looking down on the reader also spying to some degree. Thanks for giving me a smile. |

Lovely image. It has very good tonal range and quality with good detail in the highlights and shadows. To my eye, you have captured the harshness of the terrain and it's impact on a living structure. Well done. |
