Sharron, I agree. The image leaves a number of unanswered questions. |

Allen, that is what drew me to take the photo. They looked the way I felt, old, worn, but still playing my part. |

Nice horse. I wonder what he/she is thinking. Sharp image, but I prefer the original with the ears in the frame. |

I agree with Jim, not sure what the subject is in your version. However, I am unsure of what I would do with the image. Sorry, I don't have any suggestions as to a better composition. |

Jim, I like your version. It gives Yellowstone an "another world look", more than it usually looks. I feel the contrast helps draw the plums in the upper right into and blends well with the menacing clouds. The darkness of the image adds to the harshness and danger lurking in the landscape. It reminds me of a scene from the Lord of the rings, their journey to the Mount of Doom. |

Love the detail, very sharp and excellent contrast. The neck feathers looks like fur. I agree with Henry about darkening the head a bit. |

Jim, a fantastic image. I like the detail that you brought back into the engine and the fog having just enough detail to give context to the surroundings. The "decisive moment" was originally in French called "Images on the run" and I think you have captured just that. |
