I love this image. It can fit right in with an exhibit of the Group f.64 images. ( BTY, I am a great fan of their work). Straight photography with sharp focus and good contrast. I like your darker background. It makes the image stand out and gives a feeling of importance to the tree versus the lighter background that to me says portrait. I also very much like Sharron's edit it taught me something new about seeing. |

Great job. The choice on mono turned a playful looking tussle into a brawl with the energy jumping out at the viewer. Excellent. |

Really like what you did with the Topaz. You gave the image a painterly quality. It reminded me of a mono watercolor. I also liked Henry's edit with the contrast bringing out more of the detail. I think your Topaz edit allows this image to produced in several very interesting versions. I will have to try Topaz someday. |

The mono has really brought out the detail in the feathers. The background compliments the tonal range of the chest feathers and helps the crown feathers detail to stand out. I agree with Henry's cropping. It added mystery to the image. What is he looking at so intently? Excellent capture. |

To me the detail is excellent and the reflection in the chrome hubcap is very sharp and clear. the mono has the full range of tones and produces a more dramatic impact than the color version. Nice detail in the highlights on the fender. It would make a great print. |

I prefer the one shade of grey to the two different tones on the original. I feel it gives the lizard a more prehistoric look and balances well with the background. I like the fact that you were able to catch the very fine detail if the skin shooting through the glass. Well done. |

I like the serenity of the image. To me it suggests the quiet after the storm with the new boat surviving and the old going to its rest. Good tonal range and pleasing contrast. A well balanced image with the posts dividing the old from the new. |
