Hi Bob, you did a very creative job on this one. I Like it, but I do have some suggestions. 1. The brightness in the very center needs to be toned down as do the sails. You are in a storm, so things need to rough and dark. 2. You might consider angling the ship a bit(raising the bow) to indicate the rough motion of the sea. 3.You might adding some white spots with low opacity to the water right by the bow (showing foam). BTW I really liked what you did with the motion of the water. Great idea. At the right side, near bottom, close to the edge, there is a straight line that needs to be blended out. I know this looks like a lot but it is very little. You did a really good job on this! |

I'm sorry, meant to say to the right, just slightly past the wood beam/frame. |

Deb, great image which tells a great story. I like that you added a texture which brought it all together. |

I love this! Just to nit pick, you might want to get rid of the yellow reflection in the ball, Otherwise... |

Very nicely done image, Shirley. I agree with Angela about cloning out the water jug on the left side, just to get rid of the confusion and simplify the image. |

I really enjoyed this image. The drop shadow around the frame, the slight desaturation of the outer image both work really well. If I were to change anything it would be to extend the frame slightly upward and slightly to the left so as to make the frame a little more pronounced. Very nice job. |

Even though I do see some areas that I could have blended the texture a little more, I feel that by using a light texture over the flower, you eyes will still follow the continuity of the line as compared to the darker version you have created which to me chunks out sections of the flower casing. So I will stick with mine, but thank you very much for your attempt. It was nice that you took the time. |

Bev, I love the center of this flower, but am confused as to what is causing the 3 bottom center leaves and the green area just underneath to appear that way. If it were mine, I think I would clone out the 3 leaves and then using the blur tool, gently blend it all together |

I appreciate the sharpness of the stamin, but the softness of the center petals also grab my attention away from the main focal point. With such a varied DOF, if it were mine I think I would have either concentrated on the very center or backed away and used the macro lens as an ordinary one getting everything in focus. |

Lance, I like the softness, but I wish the main yellow flower were just a tad bit sharper. |
