A photo that catches my eye immediately upon seeing it. Lines, lines, lines and color adds to the pleasure. The single diagonal is a great addition to the other vertical and horizonal lines. |

I have a neighbor who has similar cactus with flowers that last only a couple of days. These blossoms are a bit too much for me in this photo. I would like to see them back a little more from the camera. The flowers are nicely sharp with a nice blurred background. I agree with David and Cindy about the strong center white. |

By including only part of the window you certainly set up some tension. I like what you have done. Red and white is a good combination for this photo. My eyes are quickly drawn to your subject. Well done. |

Nicely thought out and executed. Looks like you got what you wanted. Would like to see a photo with the orange center the only part in focus. My bias would also be to remove the red spot in the lower right. Always good to experiment! |

My butterfly book indicates this butterfly is a Tropic Queen. I never have problems with noise because of the Canon software for RAW shooting. Final noise elimination takes place when I put luminance at 100%. I look forward to seeing your butterfly photo. |

Most of the sharpness credit goes to my Canon 100-400 lens. When I put the spot on the subject and hold still, the subject is SHARP. |
