Water drops were not all in the same plane. The strawberry has some water on it and blurs the surface. By making the f stop larger might have sharpened everything. |

Lovely building, nice architecture. The silhouette of the bells and tower are very nice and the purple plant in foreground matches well with the sky colors and wall and gate. Too bad the sunset appears past its peak. More sunset/sunrise color would greatly enhance this photo. |

A delicate looking flower!! Did you take several pics? If so, maybe you could move one to this photo to make three flower images thereby maybe causing some tension in the viewer. This would make a more interesting photo. Or, use just the one flower and move in a little closer. For me you have just the right amount of background blur. |

Take what you can get David! You spent the time there in the garden and you deserve to get the rewards. I would like to see more of the ant. Since the peony bud in your photo is difficult to fully appreciate since most of the bud is out of the photo, you might consider just telling us a peony attracted the ant and give us a great close-up of the ant having lunch while standing on the bud. |

I, too, like the reflections. They add nicely to the entire photo. I would like to have seen how this would look if taken at sunset or sunrise. Then the sky might have added an entirely new dimension. As is, the sky adds little to the photo. |

David: The water was already in the tray. Strawberry dropped (by friend) from an approximate height of 18 inches. Camera set to take 10 photos/second and started at the moment the berry was dropped. Water had a small amount of milk in order to increase seeing each drop. |
