Spoonbills here in South Florida are common but not as much as they used to be. In the Everglades National Park, they are trying to increase the population. Most of the spoonbills I see have considerable red or pink on the body. When seen in flight, they can look spectacular! I like the reflections; both the blue line slightly behind the bird and a reflection of the bird itself. A simple scene like this is pleasing to my eyes. Glad you submitted it for all to see. |

Pretty flowers Charlie. Good that you caught them on a slight left lean as that puts a little tension to the pic. and increases viewer interest. A couple of suggestions: one, try to get three flowers as that also increases viewer interest. Secondly, the flowers appear to me to be just slightly out of focus. Your plan to use a tripod next time should take care of that. Lastly, the background, while out-of-focus, is still a bit of distraction. I try to use a piece of flat black poster board as background for my white or pale flowers or one that is white for colorful flowers. |

I'm fascinated with your photo! The eyes, face and surrounding areas have a great impact. It is an opportunity for a orangutan facial study since it is so well composed and sharp. |

I am having difficulty interpreting the picture since I think the foreground is composed of various vegetation which, if in color, would be easily determined. And the dark areas are grass or are they forested areas a good distance away? David saw the white as maybe snow and I was wondering if the white was simply the result of using the infrared lens. With so much white, I am having trouble interpreting the image. |

Nice bubbles image, very creative! I have been thinking of doing something like this only using oil on the water to get the various colors. I like your artistic colors and arrangement. |

A fun, delightful and interesting image! Nice reflection. I find the tree on the left to be a slight distraction. Well done. |
