45 Mar 21 Comment A beautiful bird picture Charlie!! Sharp, lots of color and great sky. I believe the bird is a House Finch because the rose color only goes half-way down the chest and the chest has dark strips. The Purple Finch is rosy over most of the chest and has no strips and the head is covered with red. Good cloning job too. Mar 4th

45 Mar 21 Comment So this is what a bare-bulb flash tube looks like. Seems like a very simple construction. The blue color "makes" the photo for me. Doesn't look like the flash tube is connected to a power source, yet the blue light appears. Good thing we have some people with the patience to make these kinds of photos! Mar 4th
45 Mar 21 Comment I like the many hues of tan, including the sky, that helps to make this a complete and pleasant photo. Off-setting the photo to the left is good as it provides for me a slight sense of dissidence and, therefore more interest. Good use of the reflection pond. Mar 4th
