Did not think about the grass. Guess I simply never really saw it! |

A beautiful capture! Well done. The blurred background and sharp focus on the bird and bark is excellent. Nice to see a catch in the bird's eye and sharp claws! |

Good thinking, Ray. Photograph the reflection rather than the trees. Looks like it could be sold as an expensive painting!! I like the combination of colors and blue sky. Well done. |

A very sharp picture that tells a story. And you caught a thunderhead in the background!! Was there several years ago. Thanks for the story! |

A beautiful broach and string of pearls! Congratulations on spotting this "picture." I agree that converting to B/W was the thing to do. And I am glad you included a few links around the web to increase the power of the subject. But the fly, not for me. |

Bai, I like all your nighttime photos! This one is quite interesting with all the lights, images from within some of the shops, starburst lights, lights showing beneath the ship and nice reflections in the water. Nicely done! You might consider cutting off some of the top to reduce the amount of background that you consider regrettable. The red smoke (?) on the hillside is a bit distracting. |

David: Was actually there to photograph a sunset, so the sky was bright with about a half hour to go before the sun would set. Then along came the silhouette.
