I really like this photo!! It seems to have all the qualities required--taken at twilight, blue hour, bridge and lights lead us into the heart of the photo, bridge set on an angle, sharp through out. My only concern is the sun. I have tried to photography both sunrises and sunsets. You never know what you can get. I was wondering if this place is one you can easily visit again, and if so, try a different sunset. The bridge will still be there as will as everything else.
Bai: What is the shutter speed and aperture? |

Here is an option you might want to consider. Use a longer shutter speed so the movement of the wave is seen as action. As I look at your photo, I know the wave was moving, yet everything is "stock still"; frozen. For me, I look at the photo and expect motion, but there is none. I like the green plants, growths on stone, and color on the rocks. All makes for a nice setting for the photo. |

You certainly picked the right filter. The sharp focus and the "dreamy" look makes for a pleasing photo. There is almost a comforting feeling to the photo. As an old teacher, I would give you an A grade! |

Lines and lines, vertical, horizontal and diagonal. To me, that is the subject. For me, I would eliminate the tractors and the tree on the left. I think the light painting is a little too much. On a dark night I would expect the building to me a little darker. I'm wondering if the inclusion of stars was a decision of yours or a serendipity. If planned, reducing the exposure time to 25 seconds would eliminate the star trails. If you wanted the trails, as a nice addition to the photo, then increasing the exposure time would make longer trails. I would find longer trails around the building to be a nice addition. |

Nice colors and nice flowers. I can almost smell their scent. But at the same time my eyes are jumping around from one white flower to the next. For me, its too much. As suggested by David, selecting a few and concentrating on them would make a good photo. |

Now that's an original photo and cleverly done!! The sharpness of the leaf edge is super. I would prefer a little more light on the leaf side. It would help me appreciate more the veins of the leaf. |

Hi David: I have taken many photos of dragonflies. This time I wanted to get to the details of the head, front legs, etc. I wanted as much detail as possible. |
