I don't know when my wife bought the lilies, but they have been in our backyard for several years. They bloom several times a year. |

I like number 1 because the farm house for me is the subject and number 1 shows the house more than number 2. Nice sky and colors in photo. And since I tend to like things neat and orderly, the cut grass in number 1 shows up more than in 2. Of course, the path in is a plus. |

Great capture of a sheep that is very sharp with slightly blurred background. This animal really stands out in this photo. Now if only he would raise one leg a little to show us a little action... I agree with the suggestion of trying to get rid of the little pine trees near the shoulder. The sheep would stand out even more. You would then be able to almost reach in and pet the thing! |

Always being ready should be a photographer's motto! Nice quick capture. Suggest cropping out everything except the bee and white flower. After cropping, try flipping the photo vertically and see if you like it. Nice sharp bee capture. |

Well done, Ray. Nice foreground, middle area with reflection and background of mountain/sky. Good focus except for trees in top left and the photo is filled. Was there a wind that moved those trees? Photo appears a "little flat." Might try upping the saturation a little. I'm curious. How did the sky get "robin-egg blue on the right and sky-blue on the left?? |

I like it David!! Great technical work besides having good eyes to see the possibilities. I love the black surround and the grey-blue/white subject. Almost seems "outer worldly". It should win a prize!! |

Sorry Bai, but I am a little confused. I see a leaf with its radiating veins, a petal (because you say it is a petal, but I am unable to identify it myself) and a drop of water. For me it is too much. It could be three subjects; a close-up of the water against the leaf, the leaf and its veins/pattern and the petal. Also, was it your intention to keep most of the image out-of-focus? Is there something special about the in-focus area, upper left? |
