I and my wife ride our bikes first thing in the morning in our neighborhood. There is always a GBH sitting in a neighbors front yard waiting for a handout! I like David's darkening adjustment. The forefront rocks were too light. The calm bird and rushing water is a nice juxtaposition. |

Hi Charlie: I see a great picture in the picture! Cropping on all four sides makes a clean shot. The black-eyed Susans and green grasses contrast nicely with the deer. Good job. |

nice, sharp, action picture with good lighting! I, too, would suggest some cropping all four sides. The two birds comprise the subject. When cropped you get an enlarged subject which helps us see the adult bird's eye. I have assumed the nesting box is swinging in the breeze, correct? |

Good technical work, Bai. Well done. I see that the sky is completely different from the original. The work is sharp and the subject fills the photo. The blue boats in the foreground and the horizonal lines of the old structure help to keep my eyes moving around the entire photo. The original is quite dark. Did you intend to capture it so dark? |

Shell is darker and better. But for me the shell is not something "old" and doesn't fit in with the other items. Should have added that comment in my original comment. |

I sent an email to PSA to pass on to you about my inability to participate this July. (Didn't think about this as a way to contact you.) My computer is broken and the Geek Squad will not be able to work on it until this Friday. No telling how long they will need. Will send something when I get the computer back. |

Well crafted scene. All the "old" items look well together, everything sharp, adding the textured background is just right. For me, the everything goes together except the shell. Its light surface takes my eye from the "old" items. Otherwise, very creative! |
