This is the first of your many recent photos that doesn't move me. Several thoughts: why the tin pitcher with flowers? Doesn't seem to go with the berries. To me, looks like an "add on". Secondly, I want the berries to be closer to the garden. Why not photograph them amoung plants, an outdoor setting or amoung garden supplies? The black table and light green wall don't compliment the berries. |

I can add nothing to what has already been said, except while you feel some emotion from this photo, for me it does not provoke any story/emotion. It would be better photographed from the front and maybe closer in order to generate some impact on the viewer. |

Beautiful flower Charlie. I like the colors and the fact that you included the stem. Background is nicely blurred, but as stated before, if the background were a little darker, the blossom would stand out. In the future, look for other possibilities: get in closer, the inside of the flower can be very interesting, shoot from the back of the flower and see what you get or place the flower in the sun and shoot from the back and see what the sun shows you through the petals. |

This picture does not seem to go with the commentary. The bird is a great egret and I don't see any post. Am unable to seen any green (on my computer screen) around eye. But it is an excellent photo of a white bird in flight with, for me, a beautiful grey and gold background. Sharp outline, but maybe wings that are too white (blown-out). |

Plenty of action, a story-teller! Interesting orange, yellow and red coloring. Well done! The "hard" outlines bother me some. I find it distracting. |

My thought was to keep the background light to contrast with the black of the bird. |
