Thanks for your compliments and for your suggestions. I agree with you about the texture. I have to admit to being very committed to that cloud and probably would have cropped in without it. I'll have to play with that a bit more to see what I like better. |

Hi Nenette,
What a unique composition! As you indicate, the seagull is what makes this so special. I can almost make a story in my mind about the beautiful bird escaping the vaguely menacing tree. Well seen and beautifully processed. |

Lovely and poignant image, Sheldon. The isolation of the couple against the stark wall works beautifully here. Black and white was the right choice as well. |

It's a terrific technical achievement, but as a piece of art it's outstanding! The sharpness of the drops and web set against the soft background work beautifully. I've seen the color version of this image before and have greatly admired it but I really like it in monochrome. I hope you get the opportunity to print it. |
