Thanks, Jim. You are probably right, but I just didn't want to lose that "wave" at the bottom of the frame. |

Well worth the effort you took to create this image, Jim. I love stuff like this. My only thought is possibly cropping out the large tree on the left side and a bit off the top and bottom. Something like this. |

Very compelling subject. I like what you did, but I think I favor Jim's treatment. If this is something you can get back to easily, I'd encourage you to approach it from different angles and possibly zooming in closer. I'm drawn to the interplay between the three "points in the lower left. |

I agree with Jim's point about simplifying the image via cropping, but I saw a different composition than he did. My favorite element in your image is the mirrored surface in the lower right. I cropped out the left side of your image and tightened things in a bit, also going with a square. It becomes more about triangles plus I liked the way the round table in the lower left echoes the round lights in the upper right. |

Another great composition, Emil, and your processing of the fence and mountain work really well here. I do agree that it would be an improvement to soften the sky and remove the dust spots. |

I agree with the others - your composition and processing are right on the money for the image. No suggestions. |

I do love lighthouses and Yaquina Head is one of my favorites. I love this shot and the way you processed it. I have no issues at all using AI tools like this. It's essentially the same thing as using content-aware fill and the like in our images. The software is making a "best guess" as to what should go in an area if it works, it works. |

Charles, beautifully done and I agree with Emil - print it (canvas would work well) and put it on the wall. |

Jack,
Great composition. I like your version a lot but I think I agree that Palli's processing works a bit better. |

Arik,
You nailed this one. Great framing and exposure and your processing is spot on. I have no suggestions other than that you print it and put it on the wall. |

Lovely composition, Melanie, though I agree with the others about the leaves in the upper right.
Overall, I find it too dark for my taste. I find your processing tends to crush the blacks, losing what looks to be interesting detail in the original. It's my opinion and I tend to not favor heavy contrast in images like this so take it for what it's worth. |

Thanks, Emil. We definitely need to budget a bit of extra time because it always seems to take longer than we expect. |

Thanks, Jack. I have to give at least some of the credit to Dave and his successors for the way the trucks are laid out. The location is just outside the boundaries of what is considered the Palouse, but is easily found. Let me know if you ever head that way again and I'll send you a map. |

Thanks, Gary. I haven't offered this one for sale yet, but I've done a number of other prints from here that have sold - both IR and conventional. |

Thanks, Palli. Yes, I've done all kinds of detail shots in this location over the years. Hood ornaments, badges, rust and paint patterns - it's a goldmine for all kinds of photography. The great thing about this place is I've never encountered another photographer (other than my wife) in all the times we've been there. It's off most people's radar. |
