Thanks, Jim. I confess to being somewhat allergic to cropping out reflections, but your suggestion has me rethinking that. |

One of my favorite places in the world! Wonderful image, beautifully processed. Needs to be printed. |

I find your monochromatic treatment of the glass fascinating, but the palm fronds not so much. I've taken it and cropped in much tighter and taken it into ACR and played with the exposure a bit. |

Great subject that works well in monochrome. I concur with Jim that a darker background is called for or at least a noticeable vignette. I'd also like to see more room around the bird, especially at the bottom of the frame. |

Thanks for all the kind comments, everyone. The consensus is to extend the top and we have a couple of votes for adding a stroke. I went ahead and implemented the suggestions and did a bit more cleanup. Take a look and let me know what you think. |

Excellent image, Emil. Beautifully composed and I love your processing. I do agree that a vignette would complete the overall image. |

Love the composition of your original image, Palli, but your processing feels a bit too heavy-handed for my taste. I've gone back and played with the original a bit. I left that little tree on the right as I find it contrasts nicely with the foreground tree. See what you think. |

I'm all about shadows, Gary, the more dramatic the better. This is outstanding! The sense of mystery and drama are captivating. I hope you plan on printing it. |

This is great, Charles! It really captures a turn of the last century vibe with the toning and vignette choices you made. |

My first thought was "why are you submitting this old snapshot from the 50s?". The low contrast makes this work as a "retro" image and reminds me of the old family photos I've been digitizing over the past few years. I like the versions Palli and Gary submitted, but I keep coming back to the original and lingering over it. |

Nicely done, Arik. IR and street photography can be a wonderful combo, something I did a lot of before I retired ten years ago. You are inspiring me to head back into the city! |

Great subject for infrared! I really like your composition with the foreground grasses. I think I would restore more of the clouds overhead and crop the foreground to just below the large clumps of grass. Those clouds are wonderful and really add a sense of grandeur to the overall scene. |
