A great example of why it's worthwhile to go back and look at old images in light of improved skills and better tools. I think I agree that Jim H's version is the strongest of the series. |

An image that combines two of my favorite things: abandoned buildings and infrared! Nicely composed and processed. Love the shadows. |

Welcome Kapil! Great image, made stronger by Michael's treatment. I'm eager to see more of your images. |

Sorry to be so late to the party, but I concur with Allen and Jim. A tight crop takes a great photo and makes it superb. |

I love the patterns in orchards and have pulled over on more than one occasion to photograph them myself. This is excellent and the monochromatic treatment is spot on. It really brings out the row of trees and I love the dark contrasty tree trunks. |

She's the one who collects the money! These guys aren't dumb. They collect $10 per hour per photographer for the privilege of wandering around. Well worth it, in my opinion. |

This is excellent. Good composition and processing, though I might have lightened it a bit more. I love scenes like this, but don't often shoot them in IR. This is inspiring me to do more. |

I like the composition of this much more than last month's, but I have to agree that this treatment doesn't really work well here. I like Silver Efex a lot, but their presets are a mixed bag. |

Not really to my taste, but kudos for trying something unique. I've played with Distressed FX on my iPad and have had mixed success with it. Our club wouldn't have allowed it in competition either, but it is a fun experiment. |

Beautifully composed and processed, Charles. I love the contrast between the black asphalt and the white foliage. You also did a great job with the sky. |

Excellent. I agree with Gary's comments. The power lines really work well in this scene. |

I like this a lot, Melanie. I like the way the leaves "glow" in contrast to the surrounding elements. I also like Gary's interpretation. |

Thanks for your comments, Gary. Yes, I did take a number of different images from different angles - some with the palm trees and some without. This is the one that that pleased me the most. |
